(Hose) Integrity Management

Oil & Gas marine hoses are the main conduits for offshore product transfer. These critical components constitute a major investment, often with long lead times, and are the most vulnerable link in the distribution chain. Oil & Gas marine hoses are exposed to harsh environmental and operating conditions, operating to high levels of availability, yet must comply with exacting QHSE standards. Oil leaks, reduced Reliability, reduced Asset Integrity and Unplanned Shutdowns, constitute major QHSE, reputation and economic impacts for the Asset-Owner, all other stakeholders and the environment.

The KOTUG Hose Integrity Management Solution is structured specifically to avoid such shutdowns, improve Reliability and Asset Availability, whilst focusing on maximizing Efficiency and minimizing Operational Costs.

Data Acquisition

KOTUG’s Offshore Asset Data Acquisition (DAQ) system is an essential part of an Asset-Owner’s RAM and Integrity Improvement efforts. KOTUG DAQ is a synchronized component of KOTUG’s ASIM (Advanced System Integrity Management) Program which provides automated capturing of the relevant data from the offshore asset, in real-time. This data is essential towards establishing improved Asset Availability, Reliability and a structured integrity management structure for the offshore asset.

Mooring integrity & hose analysis

This is a very specific case of SPM Inspection, Repair and Maintenance (IRM), primarily aimed at the pre FEED/FEED stage of the solution. Depending on the data available from nearby/similar installations we can make site-specific recommendations during the design stage.
